Students in Year 8 have been given the task of designing and publicising a new ride for Alton Towers. Working in teams of six, the students are to use teamwork, literacy and communication skills to come up with the best package. The winning team will participate in the national finals after Easter! A group of ten Year 11 students recently attended a Midwifery Taster Day at James Cook Hospital. The day involved an extremely informative two-hour lecture and gave the Year 11 girls a real incentive into pursuing the role of becoming a midwife. Continue reading
