Enrichment Trips Information

 

Monday 17th July 2017

Focus Day and Charity Fun Run for Bradley Lowery Foundation, Alzheimer’s UK and Angel Wings Baby and Child loss support.

In the morning pupils will take part in Enrichment and Focus Day activities. In the afternoon we have our annual Charity Fun Run. Pupils are allowed to wear non-uniform SPORTS CLOTHING with a colour scheme of RED WHITE AND BLUE. Pupils will need to wear trainers or appropriate footwear for the run or walk. Jewellery not permitted.

Contribution to Charity for the run is £1 please. There is also an opportunity to complete an Inflatable Assault course with a cost of 50p per attempt. Our School Council charity target is £1200, split equally between the 3 charities.

 

Tuesday 18th July 2017

Pupils participating in Sports Day will have received a letter with full details, via Mr Miller, Curriculum Team Leader for PE. Pupils not participating in Sports Day will have normal curriculum in school in the morning, followed by a special guest performance in the hall in the afternoon. Full school uniform required.

 

Wednesday 19th July 2017 – Late buses usual routes available 5.30pm

Alton Towers

Pupils are to meet promptly at 6.15am at the main school car park.  Lunch will be provided for free school meal pupils if required, otherwise pupils are to bring money for food and refreshments.  Bags can be taken and either left on the coach or can use a locker in Alton Towers (£4).  Pupils should wear sensible clothing and take suncream and a waterproof jacket. We will return to school at approximately 6.30pm/7.00pm.  Parents will need to arrange collection of pupils.

 

Flamingo Land/Lightwater Valley

Departing at 8;45am.  Return by 5.00-5:30pm.  Lunch will be provided for free school meal pupils if requested  Pupils should wear sensible clothing and take suncream and a waterproof jacket. Bags can be taken and left on the buses or taken into the theme parks.  Parents will need to arrange collection of pupils, however, there will be late buses for the normal East and West routes.

 

Metro Centre

Departing 8:45am.  Return at 4.30pm.  Pupils can wear own clothes.  Parents will need to arrange collection of pupils, however, there will be late buses for the normal East and West routes. Lunch will be provided for free school meal pupils if requested

 

Alpamare Water Park

Departing 8:45am.  Return at approx 4.00pm.  Pupils can wear own clothes.  Pupils will need to bring appropriate swimwear and will need some money for a locker to store valuables during the day. Sun cream is required. Parents will need to arrange collection of pupils, however, there will be late buses for the normal East and West routes. Lunch will be provided for free school meal pupils if requested

 

Go Ape

Departing 8.40am prompt.  Pupils need to report to Main Reception.  A late departure could result in shortened activity.  Pupils should wear clothing that they don’t mind getting dirty and should also bring a waterproof jacket.  Trainers with good grip are recommended.  Gloves are also advisable.  A change of clothing to travel home in is also recommended.  We are aiming to be back for approx 3:30pm

 

Clip n Climb, Jump 360

Departing 10am.  Return at approx 3.00pm.Both activities will take place within regular school hours. There will be an opportunity to get lunch between activities. Pupils need to wear sensible clothing appropriate for climbing and trampolining.

 

School Based Activities

Pupils should wear school uniform or school PE kit only.  An alternative curriculum will be provided.

 

Thursday 20th July 2017

This is the last day of the school term. Normal school uniform required. School will finish at our regular time of 3:05pm.
