In regards to our History trip to the Somme and Verdun, our travel company have issued the following statement in respect of the tragic events that happened yesterday in France
“In light of the tragic events that occurred in Paris last year, Brussels earlier this year and most recently in Nice, we are mindful that your school, parents and students may have concerns about your forthcoming study trip.
To help, we have issued the following statement to use for guidance.
France Travel Advice
All travel companies adhere to information given by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), regarding travel advice.
Our tours are run within Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) travel guidance. We monitor the FCO site daily and have the resources to react quickly should that advice change.”
General Travel Advice
For Travel to most popular destinations, the FCO’s general advice is to continue plans as normal. However it does recommend that travellers be vigilant at all times and follow the advice of local authorities.

This year’s overall pass rate was 98%, together with an increase of 11% in the higher grade achievements.

ESFA Competition Fixtures and Results
GCSE results can be collected from School on Thursday 21st August at the following times:
Year 11 pupils – from 10.00 am to 12.00 lunchtime
Year 9 & 10 pupils – from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm
A2 Results will be issued from 8.30 am – 10.30 am from Tutors.
AS Results can be collected from 10.30 am – 11.30 am from appropriate Tutors.
Staff will be available for 1:1 meetings to assist with any issues relating to UCAS etc.
A really successful football tournament, well attended by students from Year 7 to 13, was organised by one of 6th Form students, Matthew Wood. The tournament was held to raise money for Paula’s Wish Charity, a great cause close to Matthew and his family.
A hugely successful Race for Life, organised by the Trinity Pupil Council, took place on Friday 11 July. All staff and students joined together to pound the 4K running course or the 2K walking course around the Trinity site.
