Y8 National Enterprise Day 

Y8 Enterprise Day4Students in Year 8 have been given the task of designing and publicising a new ride for Alton Towers. Working in teams of six, the students are to use teamwork, literacy and communication skills to come up with the best package. The winning team will participate in the national finals after Easter! Spring into Reading!


At the recent World Book Day our staff and pupils brought in their favourite book to enjoy during afternoon form time. Many of the English Department staff dressed as literary characters and enjoyed a Celebration of Reading Event in the Learning Resource Centre at lunchtime.  Hardworking students who have produced consistently high scores in their Accelerated Reader tests were invited to the event which included raffle prizes, sweets and treats for attendees.
