YoungMinds are delighted to launch Amplified, a four-year national programme funded by NHS England’s Children and Young People’s Mental Health Programme. Together with NHS England and NEL Commissioning Support Unit, we’ll be working with services across the mental health system to build the participation of children and young people, parents and carers in mental health and the services they use. A group of ten Year 11 students recently attended a Midwifery Taster Day at James Cook Hospital. The day involved an extremely informative two-hour lecture and gave the Year 11 girls a real incentive into pursuing the role of becoming a midwife. Continue reading
