Students and staff were celebrating today, following an excellent set of A Level results.
The A Level Pass rate was 99% with a High Pass Rate of 28%, this year’s Success Rate at A level was 98%.
Significant achievements came from:
Lucy Mullen – English Language – A, English Literature – A, Creative Writing – A and Film Studies A*
Martin Nolan – Geography – A*, English Language – A, Mathematics – A and French -B
Duncan McTiernan – Mathematics – A, Further Maths – B and Art & Design – B
Katie McQuade – History – A, Religious Studies – A and English Language – B
Other performances of note were Michael McAvoy A* in Applied ICT and Mo Khan A* in Photography
Headteacher, Peter Coady said: “We are delighted with our A Level results this year. Outcomes have improved year on year since Trinity Catholic College Sixth Form was established in 2011. We are so proud of our students and staff – they have worked exceptionally hard and thoroughly deserve to be rewarded with these record results! The progress made by our students is significantly above that made by other Sixth Form Colleges across the country and we fully intend to build on this going forward into the new academic year.”
